Dr. Raymond L. Coxe, Executive Advisor, joined Concentric Energy Advisors in October 2006 after working 18 years at the crossroads of competitive electricity markets, economic regulation, and transaction evaluation. Dr. Coxe is an independent consultant in the wholesale power sector, with a focus on advising clients on wholesale power transactions, sales and acquisitions. Prior to founding Mosaic Energy Insights, Inc. in 2006 to provide such advisory services, he served as Senior Vice President of Transɮergie U.S. Ltd, Hydro-Quebec’s US transmission development subsidiary. In that role, Ray oversaw all of the company’s transmission marketing, financial modeling, and regulatory activities in the US. He also contributed to Hydro-Quebec’s transmission development business in Australia. During this time, Ray was instrumental in bringing three independent electric transmission projects in the US and Australia from concept to operational projects sold at a profit. Before joining, Transɮergie US, Ray worked for a decade at the New England Electric System (NEES), where he led or supported many of NEES’s strategic initiatives, including the initial development of the independent transmission project concept and many elements of the restructured electricity market in New England. Dr. Coxe has undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in nuclear engineering.
