Samuel G. Eaton
provides financial, regulatory, strategic and operational support to energy industry participants. He has assisted clients with rate design for both natural gas and electric utilities, analyzed natural gas resource needs and market demand for local distribution and pipeline companies, as well as aided in the development of expert reports ranging in topics from round-trip trades to spent nuclear fuel. Mr. Eaton has spent much of the last four years reviewing management prudence for a variety of clients, including: the developer of two new nuclear facilities, an owner implementing four Extended Power Uprates at existing nuclear facilities, and the developer of a new coal-fired facility in the Midwest. Mr. Eaton has participated in several facets of multiple nuclear and fossil-fueled divestitures, including: due diligence, workforce matters, the development and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, and closing the transactions. Prior to joining Concentric, Mr. Eaton was employed at the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission (“JEDC”), where he created the Empowerment Zone Database, provided project support for several local development projects, and aided the JEDC with their recent reorganization. Mr. Eaton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. |
