John C. Slocum
is a management, economic and financial consultant with more than 25 years of experience in the energy field. Mr. Slocum’s expertise encompasses energy regulatory policy formulation and implementation, economic and financial advisory services, energy sector contracting, litigation support, strategic planning, energy market assessment and environmental regulations impacting the energy sector, including greenhouse gas policies. He has an extensive background in valuation and financial transactions in the electric and natural gas industries, having participated in dozens of project financings and in both regulated and unregulated power plant and power purchase agreement sale transactions. He has provided management seminars and presentations on natural gas and power contracting, greenhouse gas policy development and energy industry transactions. Mr. Slocum has served in managerial and executive positions at Concentric Energy Advisors, Inc., Navigant Consulting, Inc., Reed Consulting Group, Benjamin Schlesinger and Associates and the California Public Utilities Commission. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. |
